Discover autoscoring with Tungsten Darts Vision.

Vision is the automatic scoring of your darts: a camera watches the board, the app fills in the score. With your phone, free, right now. With the Vision Kit and its three cameras, maximum accuracy.

Vision is autoscoring

You throw, the app scores. Vision spots every dart on the board, places it, and adds the score: single, double, treble, bull. In every mode, solo or online.

On your board

Any bristle board for steel-tip darts, any brand, any size. Nothing to change.

In the app

The Vision tab is in Tungsten Darts, free, no subscription, no game limit.

Fixed with one tap

A misread dart is fixed by tapping the board on screen. You stay in control.

Two ways to use it

The phone is the way in. The Vision Kit is the next step, when you want every dart seen.

Vision, with your phone Free

One camera, one angle. Free, right now.

Prop up the phone in front of the board, line it up with one tap, play. What it reads is right, but it sometimes sees less: one dart can hide another.

Vision Kit Beta

Three cameras, three angles. Maximum accuracy.

Three cameras on a strap around the board. Every dart is seen, even packed against the others, and located to the millimetre. No drilling, no subscription, no router required. In beta.

With your phone: how it works

No camera to buy, nothing to mount on the board. A four-page tutorial walks you through it in the app.

01

Prop up the phone

On a stand or a small tripod, facing the board, the whole board in the picture.

02

Line up the board

One tap on Calibrate: the app finds the board outline in a second. If the phone moves, it re-aligns itself.

03

Throw

Every dart is read and added to the score. Online, your opponents see your board and your darts the moment you throw.

Why three cameras

One camera sees the board from a single angle. When a dart lands in front of another, it can hide it: the phone misses it, and you fix it with one tap. The Vision Kit watches the board from three angles at once: what one angle hides, another sees. That is the difference between "right" and "complete", and that is what the kit adds.

Online, a built-in anti-cheat

For online games, Vision ships with an anti-cheat system: it detects a dart placed by hand or thrown in an abnormal way, rather than a real throw, and flags it in the game. Tungsten Darts relies first on the players' fair play; this safeguard is there so that playing online with a stranger stays clean.

Placed or thrown, it can tell

The camera does not only see where the dart landed: it sees how it got there. A dart placed by hand is spotted and flagged.

Your opponents see your board

Online, they see your board, your darts and the zoom on each hit the moment you throw. The score can be checked at a glance, on both sides.

Fair play first

Tungsten Darts is "the fairplay darts experience": we trust the players. The anti-cheat does not watch your living room, it only steps in when a dart was clearly not thrown.

Frequently asked questions

How does the phone count my darts?

The app watches the board through the phone camera. After each throw it locates the dart tip, places it on the board and adds the score: single, double or treble. If a dart is misread, you fix it with one tap.

Is it free? Is there a limit?

Yes, free, with no game limit and no subscription. Automatic scoring is part of the Tungsten Darts app.

Which dartboards does it work with?

Any bristle board for steel-tip darts, any brand, any size. Nothing to buy, nothing to mount on the board.

Which phones are supported?

iPhone today, with detection running on the phone itself. Android and the browser will follow as devices allow.

Where do I put the phone?

On a stand or a small tripod, facing the board, at a distance where the whole board fits in the picture. You line up the board with one tap, and the game starts. If the phone moves, it re-aligns itself.

What is the difference with the Vision Kit?

The phone sees the board from a single angle: what it reads is right, but one dart can hide another. The Vision Kit puts three cameras around the board and sees every dart, even packed against the others. The kit is an accessory in beta, and the same app drives both.

Is there an anti-cheat online?

Yes. Vision includes a system that detects whether a dart was placed by hand or thrown in an abnormal way instead of a real throw, and flags it in the game. Your opponents also see your board and your darts live. Tungsten Darts relies first on the players' fair play; this system is there so that online play stays clean.

Can I play online with automatic scoring?

Yes. Online, your opponents see your board and your darts the moment you throw them. Everyone scores the way they like: keypad, phone or kit, in the same game.

Your darts, scored by themselves.

The app is free, on iPhone, Android and browser. Vision is in the tab of the same name, with your phone from today.
